Saturday, May 18, 2019:  City of Atlanta Recycles Day

This city-wide event is held every third Saturday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. We are fortunate to have this event right here in District 11!

City of Atlanta residents may drop-off clothing, single stream recycling, electronics, tires, and plastic bags at Greenbriar Mall, 2841 Greenbriar Pkwy SW, Atlanta, GA 30331 (access road in front of Ashley Stewart). On-site paper shredding is also provided at this event until capacity is reached. Two (2) tires per resident. One (1) TV per resident. Residency restrictions apply.

Saturday, May 18, 2019:  Neighborhood Jazz Series Concert

The Atlanta Jazz Festival is regarded as one of the largest FREE jazz festivals in the country. An annual celebration of the music, culture and art of jazz begins in May and culminates each Memorial Day weekend in Piedmont Park with an outdoor festival featuring jazz artists from all over the world.

District 11 will host a free Neighborhood Jazz Series concert in Southwest Atlanta at John A. White Park on Saturday, May 18th from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
