ATLANTA — The Atlanta City Council’s Community Development/Human Services Committee will hold a work session on housing stability for renters in Atlanta on Thursday, May 26 at 1 p.m. in the Council Chamber at Atlanta City Hall, 55 Trinity Avenue SW.

The meeting will include presentations from the Housing Justice League, Atlanta Housing, the Office of Housing and Community Development, and Atlanta Legal Aid. The work session will provide an opportunity for Council members, policy professionals, and organizations to discuss the challenges facing Atlanta’s renting population as the city has some of the highest rent increases in the U.S.

The work session will be conducted in accordance with the City of Atlanta’s Charter, Code of Ordinances, and the rules of Council as adopted for in-person meetings. Members of the public will have up to three minutes to provide public comments. Masks will be required during the meeting.
