The City Utilities Committee of the Atlanta City Council will hold a Public Hearing at City Hall, 55 Trinity Avenue, S.W., 2nd Floor, Committee Room #1, on the following proposed legislation:
19-O-1206 – AN ORDINANCE BY COUNCILMEMBER NATALYN M. ARCHIBONG AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OR HER DESIGNEE TO PERMANENTLY CLOSE THE PORTION OF GEORGE STREET, S.E. BETWEEN MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DRIVE, S.E. AND MEMORIAL DRIVE, S.E.; TO TRANSFER THE PERMANENTLY CLOSED PORTION OF GEORGE STREET, S.E., ATLANTA, GEORGIA FROM THE PURVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO THE PURVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION IN CONNECTION WITH THE MEMORIAL DRIVE GREENWAY PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
A copy of the proposed Ordinance is on file in the Office of the Municipal Clerk of the City of Atlanta for the purpose of examination and inspection of the public.
