ELECTION/CAMPAIGN BRIEFING
FOR
THE CITY OF ATLANTA’S NOVEMBER 7, 2017 GENERAL ELECTION

Potential candidates in the City of Atlanta’s November 7, 2017 General Election, and interested citizens are invited to attend “An Election /Campaign Briefing” on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Atlanta City Hall (55 Trinity Avenue SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30303), Second Floor, Council Chamber.
Speakers having various roles in the election process have been invited to participate. The invited panel includes representatives from: Georgia Secretary of State Elections Office, Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance (Ethics) Commission, Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections, Dekalb County Department of Registration and Elections, Atlanta Public Schools and City of Atlanta Office of Municipal Clerk/Election Superintendent, City of Atlanta Office of the Solicitor, the City of Atlanta Department of Police, City of Atlanta Department of Public Works, and the City of Atlanta Ethics Office.
The planned format will allow each panelist to speak without interruption. Potential candidates and interested citizens will have the opportunity to direct questions to any panelist upon the conclusion of all presentations.
