The Finance/Executive Committee of the Atlanta City Council will hold a Public Hearing in the Committee Room 1, City Hall, 55 Trinity Avenue, S.W., and 2nd Floor on the following proposed legislation:

17-O-1249 - AN ORDINANCE BY COUNCILMEMBER MICHAEL JULIAN BOND TO APPROVE THE PUBLIC SAFETY ASSESSMENT RECOMMENDED BY THE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 1-102 (C) (62) OF THE CITY OF ATLANTA CHARTER, TO BE ENFORCED IN THE MANNER AS AUTHORIZED FOR THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE COLLECTION AND PAYMENT OF TAXES, FEES, OR ASSESSMENTS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING SUFFICIENT REVENUE FOR OPERATION OF THE CITY'S 9-1-1 COMMUNICATIONS SECTION; TO WAIVE THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 2-45 OF THE CITY OF ATLANTA CODE OF ORDINANCES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

A copy of the proposed Ordinance is on file in the Office of the Municipal Clerk of the City of Atlanta for the purpose of examination and inspection of the public. Written comments to the Atlanta City Council may be submitted in care of the Municipal Clerk until Monday, June 12, 2017.
