Welcome to the Atlanta City Council
It is an incredible honor and privilege to serve as the 10th President of the Atlanta City Council and to represent the people of this great city. Atlanta is a city built on strong communities, bold leadership, and the voices of residents who care deeply about where we are today and where we are headed.
As Council President, I am committed to leading with accessibility, collaboration, transparency, and service. Through my Presidential Town Halls, community meetings, neighborhood events, and everyday conversations with Atlantans, I am making it a priority to meet people where they are, listen to their concerns, and ensure their voices remain an important part of the work we do at City Hall.
Every day, I am working alongside my colleagues on the Atlanta City Council, city departments, community leaders, and residents to address the issues that matter most to our communities and strengthen the quality of life throughout Atlanta. From public safety and infrastructure to fresh food access, economic opportunity, neighborhood investment, housing, transportation, and essential city services, our work must always remain focused on serving the people of Atlanta.
One of the greatest privileges of this role is the opportunity to connect with everyday Atlantans. Whether I am visiting a neighborhood, speaking with seniors, engaging with young people, supporting a local business, partnering with Fulton County, Atlanta Public Schools, State Representatives and Senators or simply listening to a resident share what is happening on their street, those conversations help shape how I lead and reinforce why public service matters.
Serving as the 10th President of the Atlanta City Council is an honor I do not take lightly. I remain committed to being a President who is present, engaged, accessible, and focused on getting the work done for the people of Atlanta.
