Atlanta City Council Member Andrea Boone to Host Community Cleanup Along Martin Luther King Jr. Drive Corridor Sunday With More Than 200 Attendees Expected to Participate

ATLANTA — District 10 Council member Andrea Boone is hosting a district-wide community cleanup Sunday, Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with World Mission Society Church of God.

“This is a great way for us to work together and help boost the community,” Boone said. “We’ve hosted similar cleanups in the past and are always incredibly grateful for everyone’s participation.”

To kick off the cleanup, volunteers are meeting at the C.T. Martin Natatorium and Recreation Center, 3201 M.L.K. Jr. Drive SW.

Boone is also partnering with the Keep Atlanta Beautiful Commission and the City of Atlanta Department of Corrections for the cleanup.
