Atlanta City Councilmember Amos Congratulates GMA as a 2026 Top 50 Workplace in Atlanta

ATLANTA — Atlanta City Councilmember for District 3 and member of Georgia Municipal Association Board of Directors Byron D. Amos, commends Georgia Municipal Association for its ranking as one of the top 50 workplaces with fewer than 150 employees in Metro Atlanta. This recognition was announced by Top Workplaces and its media partner, Axios.

GMA’s collaborative work culture supports the knowledge, professionalism, talent, and commitment that each employee brings to the table daily to serve 536 cities across Georgia,” said Atlanta City Councilmember for District 3 and Georgia Municipal Association Board of Directors member Byron D. Amos. “I heartily congratulate Georgia Municipal Association President Mayor Andrea Gibby, and CEO Larry Hanson, and every GMA employee for fostering a workplace that provides cities across the state with the leadership, tools, and guidance to effectively represent their constituents.”

About Atlanta City Council

The Atlanta City Council is the chief policy-making body for the City of Atlanta. It acts by considering and enacting all laws that govern the city.
