BACKGROUND: In partnership with the City of Atlanta, Invest Atlanta and the YMCA, Councilmember Martin will announce updates on the Campbellton Azalea Market project, which is slated to open in District 11 in late 2026. This community meeting will focus on the project timeline and store design, as well as how the grocery store will play a key role in the revitalization of southwest Atlanta. A Q&A session will follow for attendees interested in learning more about the project.
About Atlanta City Council
The Atlanta City Council is the chief policy-making body for the City of Atlanta. It acts by considering and enacting all laws that govern the City. The Council also approves the operating and capital budgets for the City as recommended by the mayor, and it continually monitors revenues and expenditures for local government operations.
