Atlanta City Council Meeting Livestream Moving to ATL26
 

ATLANTA — As of March 9, 2026, Atlanta City Council Communications will no longer directly livestream full council and Atlanta City Council Committee meetings, and will direct the public to ATL26 to watch meetings live.

To watch meetings live go to ATL26 YouTube channel under the handle @ATLChannel26. Viewers will be redirected to their YouTube channel on all Atlanta City Council social media platforms. Recordings of past meetings can be found on the Archived City Meetings page of the City of Atlanta website at https://www.atlantaga.gov/government/channel-26/archived-meetings.

About Atlanta City Council

The Atlanta City Council is the chief policy-making body for the City of Atlanta. It acts by considering and enacting all laws that govern the city. The Council also approves the operating and capital budgets for the City as recommended by the mayor, and it continually monitors revenues and expenditures for local government operations. The Atlanta City Council reviews and decides on many land use and zoning matters. Major economic development projects for the City also fall under the Council’s jurisdiction.

The City Council is composed of 12 districts and three at-large posts.
