WHAT: At-Promise Youth Center Grand Opening             

WHEN: Friday, Jan. 23, 2025, 11 a.m.

WHERE: 2175 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, SW 

BACKGROUND: Atlanta City Councilmember Andrea L. Boone, along with the Atlanta Police Foundation, invite the public to join them in celebrating the grand opening of Atlanta Police Foundation’s fourth At-Promise Youth Center on Friday, Jan. 23, at 2175 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, starting at 11 a.m.

This new center will expand the At-Promise program of empowering Atlanta’s youth with the skills, resources, and confidence to build brighter futures. The location of  this At-Promise Youth Center is City-owned land that was leased to the Atlanta Police Foundation as part of a ground lease agreement through ordinance 22-O-1402, adopted by Atlanta City Council in June 2022.

 

About Atlanta City Council
