“The Beloved Community Cleanup” on Saturday, Jan. 17

WHAT: The Beloved Community Cleanup

WHEN: 8 a.m.–noon, Saturday, Jan. 15, 2026

WHERE: Believers Bible Christian Church, 3689 Campbellton Rd, SW, Atlanta, GA 30331

BACKGROUND: District 11 Councilmember Wayne Martin will host “The Beloved Community Cleanup Day” on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, at the Believers Bible Christian Church, 3689 Campbellton Rd, SW, Atlanta, GA 30331.

The event is being held in conjunction with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 19, and will include residents, student volunteers from the Atlanta University Center and parishioners from local faith groups coming together to pick up trash on streets and roadways across Council District 11. Check-in starts at 8 a.m.; the cleanup takes place from 9 a.m. until noon. Cleanup supplies and light refreshments will be provided.

About Atlanta City Council
