Atlanta City Council Committee Meeting Schedule Change in Observance of Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025
ATLANTA — In observance of Veterans Day on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, Atlanta City Hall will be closed, and City Council Committee meetings will be held on Monday and Wednesday.
The Atlanta City Council Committee meeting schedule for the week of Nov. 10, 2025:
Monday, Nov. 10
10 a.m. - Zoning Committee meeting
11 a.m. – Community Development/Human Services Committee meeting
3 p.m. – Public Safety and Legal Administration Committee meeting
Wednesday, Nov. 12
10 a.m. – City Utilities Committee meeting
11:30 a.m. – Transportation Committee meeting
2:30 p.m. – Finance/Executive Committee meeting
The Community Development/Human Services Committee meeting will be held in the Marvin S. Arrington, Sr. Council Chamber of Atlanta City Hall. All other Committee meetings will continue to be held in the Larry M. Dingle Committee Room on the second floor of Atlanta City Hall, 55 Trinity Avenue, SW.
About Atlanta City Council
The Atlanta City Council is the chief policy-making body for the City of Atlanta. It acts by considering and enacting all laws that govern the city. The Council also approves the operating and capital budgets for the City as recommended by the mayor, and it continually monitors revenues and expenditures for local government operations. The Atlanta City Council reviews and decides on many land use and zoning matters. Major economic development projects for the City also fall under the Council’s jurisdiction.
