Atlanta City Council Committee Meeting Schedule Announced Following Activation of Telework Protocol

ATLANTA — Four Atlanta City Council committees will hold remote meetings next week in response to the telework protocol activated for City Hall. Council members will cast votes electronically while communicating through a phone bridge.

Below is the schedule of committee meetings for March 24-25, 2020:

Transportation                                                     Wednesday, March 25            9:30 a.m.

The committee meetings will be streamed live on the Atlanta City Council’s Facebook page at @atlcouncil. Media and public can tune into the committee meetings by dialing (877) 579-6743 and entering in the conference ID number 8315991256. Public comment can be submitted via email at publiccomment@atlantaga.gov up to 30 minutes prior to each meeting.

The following committee meetings originally scheduled for March 24 - 25, 2020 will be held in committee of the whole at the next full council meeting at 1 p.m. on April 20, 2020:

About Atlanta City Council
The Atlanta City Council is the chief policy-making body for the City of Atlanta. It acts by considering and enacting all laws that govern the City. The council also approves the operating and capital budgets for the City as recommended by the mayor, and it continually monitors revenues and expenditures for local government operations.
