Kids
with and without disabilities to have playground in South Atlanta
ATLANTA
–
On Tuesday, April 21, the City of Atlanta will dedicate a Boundless Playground
at the Rosel Fann Recreation Center, 365 Cleveland Ave. SE
The
celebration will begin at 5 p.m. with remarks by Atlanta City Councilmember
Joyce M. Sheperd and Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs
Commissioner Diane Harnell Cohen and a ribbon cutting ceremony and is free and
open to the public.
“A
boundless playground is more than just a playground. It’s about bringing the
community together. I am extremely thankful for the vision of Boundless
Playgrounds and I applaud their efforts to make a difference," said
Councilmember Joyce Sheperd. "The boundless playground eliminates barriers
and allows children of all abilities to play side by side and experience the
thrill of play.”
