Atlanta City Councilman Aaron Watson recognizes Community Life Concepts and its 4th Annual Childhood Obesity WalK
ATLANTA
– Post 2 At-Large Councilman Aaron Watson presented a proclamation to
Community Life Concepts (CLC) on Monday honoring their 4th Annual Childhood
Obesity Walk.
"Over 40 percent of Georgia's youth are overweight or obese. It is
imperative that we bring awareness to this preventable problem. I am excited to
join CLC for its Saturday, September 29 ‘Walk It Off’ event at Piedmont
Park,” said Watson, who initiated a healthy living campaign called Live
Smarter ● Live Better – which calls on Atlantans of
all ages to embrace healthy eating habits, exercise and environmental
sustainability practices.
