City of Atlanta Government Offices and Municipal Court of Atlanta to Close on Thursday, January 18, 2018

Marci Collier Overstreet is serving her first term as a member of the Atlanta City Council, representing the citizens of District 11.

Marci is a native of Atlanta and the product of Atlanta Public Schools, graduating from B.E. Mays High School's class of 1983.

She has over 25+ years of experience in service and leadership by way of her chosen career path, volunteerism and organization affiliations. Councilwoman Marci is a proven servant leader.

Her mission is to invest in technology, provide transparency, create an age-friendly community, and foster solid relationships with the constituents of District 11.

Marci understands the unique composition of her district and wishes to celebrate and preserve the unique historic components while growing amenities and conveniences to include recreation for children and senior citizens.

She received her B.A. in Journalism from Georgia State University.

Marci is married to Dr. Alphonzo Overstreet. They have three children.
