Atlanta City Council Transportation Committee to Hold Renew Atlanta/TSPLOST Work Session

ATLANTA—The Atlanta City Council’s Transportation Committee will hold a work session to hear from the Renew Atlanta/TSPLOST Program about three possible project funding scenarios associated with their re-baselining and prioritization efforts. The work session will occur Thursday, Jan. 10 from 9–11 a.m. in Committee Room 1 of Atlanta City Hall (55 Trinity Ave., S.W.).

The Renew Atlanta infrastructure bond program and TSPLOST, launched in 2015 and 2016, were created to address the more than $1 billion infrastructure backlog the City faced. When costs exceeded projected expenditures, prioritization and re-baselining measures were taken to get the program back on track. To learn more about these measures, visit the Renew Atlanta/TSPLOST Prioritization and Re-baselining website here.
