ATLANTA – City Councilmember Ivory Lee Young, Jr. and the Department of Public Works’ Solid Waste Education and Enforcement Team (SWEET) are pleased to announce the Council District 3 amnesty clean-up day as part of the “Clean It Up Atlanta!” Community Improvement program.

The clean-up will take place on from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 26 in the Washington Park community.

CLEAN-UP AREA BOUNDARIES:
North: Joseph E. Boone Blvd
South: Martin Luther King Jr, Dr
East: Joseph E. Lowery Blvd

This event is a concentrated effort to host citywide amnesty clean-ups where residents will not be fined for trash/debris near their property.

Residents are encouraged to clean and remove debris from their property and place at the curbside for pick-up by 7:00 a.m. Friday, August 25. On Amnesty Clean-up Day, Solid Waste Services will collect the material placed at the curbside.
