5.         Councilmember Martin made a request to the CFO, Jim Beard to provide a list of excess Bond Project Funds.

6.         Councilmember Wan made a request to Commissioner Macrina to provide a copy of the consultant report on the stormwater inventory to be completed in 3 months.

7.         Councilmember Shook made a request to the Departments of Watershed Management and Public Works to make Quarterly Status Reports to the City Utilities Committee on the Audit Reports’ Recommendations.

1.            Councilmember Willis asked City Attorney Cathy Hampton to provide information to the Committee listing how much money the City has paid Attorneys that are on the clock, the City is being billed by outside counsel.

2.            Councilmember Willis asked the Law Dept. to take a look at the OPS cases sustain rate (on cases that were settled) compared to the National Average.  Cathy Hampton, City Attorney, stated that the Law Department will look at state and national trends and report back to the Committee.  Councilmember Bond asked that reasons why the settlements were in the best interest be include in the report.

3/12/13

1.            Councilmember Lance Bottoms asked Chief Labat, Department of Corrections, to provide a breakdown of the offenses inmates were arrested for.

3/26/13

1.            Chief Turner committed to providing info on the 27 kids involved in the Summer Enrichment Program for truant students.

2.            Councilmember Young asked Chief Turner to let the Council know when the Westside Village Precinct is scheduled to be operational.

3.            Councilmember Winslow asked Chief Turner to look in to increasing police presence at the mini precinct on Evans Street.

4.            Councilmember Young asked Major Davis to look into the cost of acquiring the properties to the right and to the left of 176 Anderson Avenue to possibly expand Anderson Park.

5.            Councilmember Young asked Major Davis to get with OEAM and Commissioner Dusenbury, DPRCA, to begin discussion on what it would take to negotiate with the owners to convey the properties surrounding Anderson Park.

6.            Councilmember Bond asked Major Davis to include in the discussions with OEAM and DPRCA, property on Desoto Street and the old YMCA in that area to possibly expand Washington Park.

1.            Councilmember Bond asked Lieutenant McGee with APD, to distribute information concerning the implementation process for False Alarms in the City of Atlanta, to all councilmembers.

2.            Councilmember Winslow asked MARTA Police Chief Wanda Dunham to provide all councilmembers with information to share with their constituents on how to contact MARTA Police in an emergency, more specifically about the new App that can be downloaded to mobile phones..
